I have the stuff I still liked moved over there. Everything else was put into storage No see anymores!

I'll slowly be adding all my faves back over there and watching a lot of you again.

Here's a chance to get free advertising and do something really nice for our vets.

My sister is the secretary of the Iowa State University Student Veterans of America... And she would like to see if there are any artists out there what would like to donate.

What she is looking for is her school's mascot Cy the cardinal, in the same pose as the Uncle Sam poster. She wants it to look more cartoony than the original Sam poster, and less angry. Something a bit more friendly. And there can only be 4 colors in the art. White, Blue, Red, and Yellow. In her words.. Yellow beak, red hand, blue jacket, and white shirt. It would be printed out on shirts that would be given to club members and sold as part of the Red Shirt Friday campaign. (See more information in her request below)

There is a time crunch for this project.. She needs the finished work by the end of November to allow enough time for the shirt printing company to have the shirts printed out before the end of this semester. Remember this is a donation, and you would really be helping out (and get some major advertising out there)! ^^

This art is for the Iowa State University Student Veterans of America club. We are making these shirts and selling them to the community to raise awareness for veterans. This will be part of the Red Shirt Friday campaign [link] and [link] The shirts will also be a modest fundraiser, and the funds will be used to help soldiers (and sailors, marines, airmen) integrate back into school life after a deployment.

We can't pay the person, but we will certainly thank them on our website and include a link to their website, encouraging people to consider commissioning art from them. If the artist wants, they could also send us business cards which we would pass out to anyone who asks about the art.

We are hoping to have the shirts before the end of the semester because a lot of our club members want to give the shirts to their family members for Christmas. So, the sooner we have the design the better, no later than Nov 28th, but preferably earlier so we can have them to sell the week after Thanksgiving break. Maybe it could be a contest to do the best Uncle Sam Cy? We can show the runners up on our new website too [link] I'll add a special page for shirts this weekend. Oh, and how about a free shirt to the person whose design is chosen?! We'll pay shipping too of course. If they have any questions, they can email isusva[at]gmail.com

Eeee, been working on my days off, and the time I have home from work on a few more ponies. All have major sculpting. Depending on how things go on my days off, I might have a few ponies done next week. *bounce* I'm so proud of these. I'm doing a StarTrek pony (I won't say who just yet), a pokemon (again won't say whom), a dragon which I'm excited about, and last of all that goat that I've been working on for a while. And once those are done I have a pony trade or two to finish up and then I can get back to work on Littlest pet shop toys again. As well as the foot tall dragon statue that my friend is commissioning me for.

I need to go to Michael's on monday I went a week ago and got a 20% off coupon that would be perfect to use on another brick of Super Sculpy since I am running low on SS and Apoxie Sculpt. I'll have to order more of that online. I was also thinking of picking up that super light Sculpy, whatever it's called. Because I wanted to see how well it would work for wings. I hate using SS for wings because they just are so heavy and the Apoxie I have to wait till it's been cured for at least an hour and a half before I even start sculpting them because they droop. And thats already with a wire frame. D: OOH! And I really want to play with the liquid Sculpy. I was wondering if it would make nice looking dragonfly wings. But we'll see. The tube is only 8$ so I think it's worth checking out. OH oh oh! I need more wax paper too. I keep baking these ponies and using the same square of wax paper but if I make anything bigger I am screwed. So I really need to get that.

If anyone has any other supply suggestions, let me know. I'm always wanting to try out new things! ^^

Work has been going well. Yesterday was my 2nd day after training so I'm on the phones alone. I'm actually not doing too bad. And I find myself excited and happy to help people. Eee. I also haven't really needed to ask for help yet because I've gotten good at just finding what exactly I need to do.

Oh and anyone hear of the G1, it's a new phone that T-Mobile is coming out with. Look it up. It's freaking badass. There is a good chance that I'm just going to say screw you to At&t since they are pissing me off right now anyways, and go to T-Mobile and pick up that phone. Then I'll be able to access my intarwebs anywhere! So when I am on breaks and lunch and stuff I can spend more time looking into my pony forums, looking at awesome art on here, and actually talking to my friends again.. XD

Anyways... I started a new job so I've been busy with that. Then there are/were a lot of things that have been bothering me so I've not been in the best of moods. I also sliced my thumb up nice while making dinner the other day so doing much of anything hurt like hell. My bday was also last week on the 16th, and there has only been 1 birthday worse than that.. *sigh* I guess September is just not my month this year...


With that said I'm going to RainFurrest this year... I'll have a fursuit by Sontaroo/SpiritWolven if it gets here on time, and if I possibly have time to fix the things that were wrong with it. Meh. Oh and I'm only going on Sat. I have to work on Friday, and Soltris has to work Sunday and I don't have a ride. So I figure one day is fine.

Anyways.... I just don't feel well about anything right now, so it's prolly best I end this journal here. Thanks for listening.
